'The audience was utterly transfixed by Jenni Molloy's brilliant reworking of the master and new work that he would have been proud of. One of those jazz nights that you'll tell your grandchildren, “I was there”.'
'Bach to District 6 should go straight into the cannon of Modern Jazz Classics. Masterly, absolutely riveting.'
'Bass, drums and sax!? Yes, that's right. Bach ReLoaded proving that Less is More. Jenni Molloy is the Samuel Beckett of the jazz world.'

Bach ReLoaded - Contemporary, Classical, Ambient Jazz Fusion
This is Bach rewired and revamped, translated and transfused, compressed and ReLoaded.
Double bassist Jenni Molloy's innovative and original compositions have been inspired by some of Bach's rhythmic and melodic ideas. They have been tweaked, squashed and tampered with, lifted from the confines of tradition and slammed into a jazz fuelled environment; all with due respect and admiration for arguably the most prolific composer that ever lived.
Bach's Cello Suites, Solo Violin Sonatas and Partitas and Inventions for the Piano have been the inspiration, with artists as diverse as Mstislav Rostropovich, Ornette Coleman, E.S.T. and The Bad Plus providing some of the influence behind this unique project.
Joining Jenni for an unforgettable evening of cutting edge ensemble playing will be Stuart MacDonald on soprano and tenor saxophones, and Chris Sykes on drums.
Prepare yourself for an intense ride of jazz fusion from one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming trios.
